General Terms and Conditions (GTC) & Privacy Policy

Master-Haushalt GmbH • www.haushaltdeal.ch

1. Contractual Basis and Data Management

1.1 Scope

The terms and conditions set out here govern all legal transactions and orders placed by customers via the e-commerce platform www.haushaltdeal.ch without exception.

1.2 Contracting Parties & Country-Specific Restrictions

Contracts are concluded with:

Master-Haushalt GmbH

St.Gallerstrasse 33a

9500 Wil (CH)

  • Delivery area: Delivery is exclusively made to recipients with a valid residential or delivery address in Switzerland.

  • Right of withdrawal: The seller is entitled to withdraw from the purchase agreement without stating any reasons. In this scenario, all payments already made by the buyer will be fully refunded.

  • Cancellation by the buyer: If the customer withdraws from the contract, a compensation fee of 5% of the purchase price (but at least CHF 80.00) may be charged.

  • Additional costs: If the goods are already in the shipping process at the time of cancellation, all additional costs for transport and reverse logistics shall be borne by the buyer.

1.3 Product Presentation and Formation of the Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop is non-binding and does not constitute a legally binding offer, but is to be understood as an invitation to submit a purchase offer.

Important clarifications regarding the product range:

  • Visualisations: Product photos serve as sample images; visual deviations from the delivered item are possible.

  • Decorative elements: Accessories or add-on components shown (such as kitchen fronts for built-in appliances) are not included in the standard delivery scope unless explicitly stated.

  • Scope of delivery: Only the written product description of the respective item is decisive.

The contract becomes legally binding as soon as Master-Haushalt GmbH confirms the order in writing within 7 business days or ships the goods to the customer. If no response is received within this period, the customer's offer shall be deemed rejected.

1.4 Electronic Purchase Process

The ordering process is structured as follows:

  1. Selection of the item.

  2. Add to the virtual shopping cart via the "Add to cart" button.

  3. Review of the selected products in the shopping cart.

  4. Proceed to the checkout area via "Proceed to checkout".

  5. Log in to an existing account, register a new account, or enter address details for guest orders.

  6. Final review and correction of all order details.

  7. Complete the purchase by clicking the "place order with obligation to pay" / "buy" button.

Changes or cancellation of the process are possible at any time up to the final step. Upon receipt of the order, an order confirmation will be automatically generated by email.

1.5 Documentation and Data Protection

The order details and the applicable terms and conditions will be sent to the customer by email; they are also available online at any time. Master-Haushalt GmbH undertakes to handle customer data in a responsible and legally compliant manner (errors and typos excepted).

2. Terms, Shipping and Payment Processing

2.1 Pricing Structure

The final prices stated in the online shop already include:

  • the statutory Swiss value added tax.

  • the advance recycling fee (vRG).

Note: Delivery and shipping costs are calculated separately and shown in the shopping cart.

2.2 Supported Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available:

  • Bank transfer in advance (prepayment)

  • Cash on delivery

  • Credit card payment (Mastercard, Visa)

  • PostFinance (Card or E-Finance)

  • Purchase on account / installment purchase (PowerPay): These options are available only upon explicit request and after successful credit check (maximum available credit: CHF 3,000.00).

  • Direct payment upon collection on site

Note: Depending on the selected payment method, third-party provider fees may apply.

2.3 Additional Terms for Payment Methods

  • Prepayment: The shipping process will only be initiated after definitive receipt of payment in our account. No shop fees apply.

  • PostFinance: A processing fee of CHF 5.00 will be charged for payment processing.

  • Credit cards: The transaction is securely processed via an external payment provider. No shop fees apply.

  • Purchase on account & installment payment: Only available after prior approval by customer service. The credit check is carried out by PowerPay. Haushaltdeal does not charge any fees, but interest and administrative costs may apply in accordance with PowerPay's GTC.

  • Cash on delivery: For this shipping method, an additional fee of CHF 30.00 is charged. For higher order values, we reserve the right to require a 10% advance payment.

  • Cash payment / collection: Available by prior arrangement at the 9500 Wil location. Here too, an advance payment of 10% may be required for expensive orders.

  • Special provision for advance payments: Master-Haushalt GmbH reserves the right to require a security deposit of 5% (but at least CHF 200.00), regardless of the selected payment method.

3. Shipping and Delivery Terms

  • The estimated delivery time can be found on the respective product page. The timeframes refer to business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

  • Timeframe: For prepayment, the delivery timeframe begins on the day after receipt of payment. For all other payment methods, it begins on the day after contract confirmation.

  • If the last day of the delivery timeframe falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the end of the timeframe will be postponed to the next business day.

  • If a product is permanently no longer available (e.g. due to a change in the product range), the retailer reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative.

  • Truck deliveries: The delivery address must be accessible by a standard freight truck. If this is not the case, the customer bears all additional costs for transshipment or redelivery.

  • Notice of defects: After the customer has confirmed receipt, subsequently reported transport damage will only be accepted after a thorough inspection.

4. Retention of Title

All delivered products remain the property of Master-Haushalt GmbH until all claims arising from the purchase agreement have been fully settled.

5. Withdrawal and Breach of Contract

Placed orders are binding. Customer requests for cancellation require the written approval of our support team.

If acceptance is refused or payment is not made within 20 business days, Haushaltdeal may withdraw from the contract. In this case, the customer owes a lump-sum compensation of 20% of the order value (at least CHF 80.00) plus all actual transport and storage costs incurred.

6. Returns Management and Rights Regarding Defects (Warranty)

6.1 Returns

  • Registration requirement: Every return must be authorized by our customer service team in advance.

  • Opened or already used household appliances are excluded from return, unless a different goodwill agreement has been made.

  • Return fee: In the event of an approved return, a fixed fee of CHF 180.00 per appliance for reprocessing and handling will be due. This amount will be deducted directly from the refund.

  • Exclusion of special-order products: Products that were specially ordered from the manufacturer or supplier at the customer's request are generally excluded from return and exchange.

6.2 Warranty Claims

The warranty policies of the respective appliance manufacturer apply primarily. In the event of a defect, the claim will be handled at the discretion of the manufacturer or retailer by:

  • free repair (remedial action)

  • granting a price reduction

  • issuing a credit note

7. Legal, Copyright and Jurisdiction

  • Contract language: German is the governing language for all contracts.

  • Applicable law: Exclusively the substantive law of the Swiss Confederation applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is explicitly excluded.

  • Jurisdiction: The court in Wil SG has jurisdiction over all disputes (subject to any different mandatory statutory jurisdictions).

  • Dunning and collection fees: A compensation fee of CHF 100.00 per case will be charged for issuing payment orders, collection steps, or the formal withdrawal of enforcement proceedings.

  • Protection of intellectual property: All content in the online shop as well as digital or printed media (texts, images, graphics, video sequences) is protected by copyright. It is the property of Master-Haushalt GmbH or the specified rights holders. Any unauthorized reproduction, storage, or further use – even in extracts – is prohibited without written permission.
